I don't want to like it, but I cannot help myself, I like Tusk. I can take or leave those other Fleetwood Mac albums but I like this one. I suppose Tusk is the In Utero of the soft rock world as it is the bolshy followup to a massive success.

It actually became cool to like Tusk a couple of years ago, when Simon Reynolds came out as a fan of it. But his favourite track was the full-length version of Sara, which no longer exists as it was edited down to make the album fit on a CD.
ReplyDeleteThere is a longer version on the second cd of some tusk deluxe reissue. I think it's the demo. And it's just a bot too long. Even drastic editing can't ruin this song!
